Liz Bremner

Chief Administrative Officer | liz@youngdiplomats.ca

Growing up on three continents, Liz's love for travelling began at an early age. She's a proud citizen of Canada and resides in Toronto with her husband, Adam. Liz pursued her undergraduate studies at the University of Toronto, graduating with a double major in International Relations & Political Science, and a minor in African Studies. She began her career in the non-profit (she likes to call it "for purpose") sector at WE Charity (formerly Free The Children), then moved onto the Toronto Public Library Foundation, and is now at JDRF (Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation), where she manages the organization's corporate partnerships across Ontario, recruiting companies to sponsor, donate and engage their employees in JDRF's events and programs.

Working with youth, educators, donors, corporations, volunteer committees and C-level business leaders, Liz recognizes the importance of connecting people with their passions. She is currently pursuing a Certificate in Leadership for Impact in the Non-Profit Sector at the University of Toronto's School of Continuing Studies, though which she is gaining a greater understanding of the complexities of building a successful non-profit organization and implementing strategies for change.

As Chief Administrative Officer at YDC, Liz is responsible for creating and implementing internal processes that track and measure impact, and ultimately achieve the organization's strategic vision and goals.
