Ahdithya is a dynamic public affairs and policy professional with a diverse background spanning the House of Commons, federal public service, and the nonprofit sector.
He currently serves as the National Director of Advocacy & Public Policy at Canadian Parents for French, where he is dedicated to advancing official bilingualism and enhancing second-language education across Canada. Ahdithya’s recent role in the Parliamentary Internship Programme (2023-2024) allowed him to gain a nuanced, non-partisan perspective on public policy through placements with both government and opposition Members of Parliament. His previous experience includes working as a Junior Policy Analyst with the Department of Canadian Heritage, where he contributed to the Action Plan for Official Languages, focusing on the needs of Canada’s official language minority communities.Passionate about amplifying youth voices in decision-making, Ahdithya has participated in several international forums, including the CanStudyUS Fellowship in Washington, D.C., and the Japan-Canada Academic Consortium in Tokyo.
Actively engaged in the community, he has been recognized for his exceptional contributions, including being named Alberta’s Top 30 Under 30 in 2022.Ahdithya holds a B.A. in Political Science and History from the University of Alberta’s Campus Saint-Jean.
