Young Diplomats of Canada (YDC) is pleased to announce the appointment of Ahdithya Visweswaran as Chief Executive Officer and Emma Talbot as Chief Operating Officer. They succeed Christina Caouette and Anne-Sophie St-Gelais, who served the organization with dedication and distinction, strengthening YDC’s partnerships and national presence.

We sat down with Angela Minyi Hou to talk about her time as a YDC delegate at the World Trade Organization Public Forum and her career path that has now led her back to the WTO.

We are pleased to announce that the Young Diplomats of Canada are sending youth delegations to represent Canada at three upcoming international summits - the 2024 Youth 7 (Y7) in Italy, the 2024 Youth 20 (Y20) in Brazil, and the United Nations’ High-Level Political Forum on Sustainable Development (HLPF) in New York City.

The Young Diplomats of Canada and the Global Shapers Ottawa Hub are conducting a cross-Canada survey of youth (young people in and from Canada aged 15-30) perspectives on global policy issues, and we want to hear from you!
