Originally from the Saguenay, Quebec, Anne-Sophie has a multidisciplinary background that has allowed her to discover different environments. She developed her passion for politics by participating in various internship experiences and university involvement. With a bachelor’s degree in Public Relations and a graduate in journalism, she has a keen interest in social issues, including access to education, environmental protection and access to mental health care. She discovered her interest in the diplomacy during the G7 Charlevoix Summit while she was acting as a media support agent. She then further explored this passion by participating as a delegate to the United Nations simulation in New York with the delegation from Laval University. These different experiences were extremely enriching and only confirmed her desire to work in a parliamentary environment where democracy and the development of society occupy a central place. Anne-Sophie recently completed her Masters in Public Affairs and International Public Management. She now works in communication and institutional relations at the office of the Ethics Commissioner of the Quebec National Assembly.n.
