From Truro Nova Scotia, Chloé is currently pursuing a bachelor’s degree in International Relations with hopes to continue onto graduate studies. Enthusiastic about travelling and gaining a global perspective, she has taken her studies abroad to experience the international organizations she has studied in textbooks. Her area of interest resides in the intersection of climate security and migration studies. Her academic pursuits build upon her personal endeavours, which include serving on the Nova Scotia Youth Climate Council in its inaugural year and working as a housing policy student for United Way Colchester. In both of these projects, Chloe worked to create more sustainable and equitable spaces in Nova Scotia.
A firm believer in the power of education and community development, Chloe has been involved with the Atlantic Council for International Cooperation to help connect Atlantic youth with global goals. She has been a conference leader and panelist for the Global Citizenship Youth Conference where she educated and empowered youth to engage with key social justice issues. Although all Sustainable Development Goals are important to pursue, Chloe finds herself working in the spaces of goals 11, 13 and 16 most often.
Chloe first became acquainted with YDC when she was a delegate attending the IMF-World Bank annual meeting in Morocco, in the fall of 2023.
