Montréal, QC

Daniel Felipe Burgos is a securities analyst for the Autorité des marchés financiers. Eager about pan-Canadian financial issues, he participates in different transnational committees coordinating various securities-related policies throughout Canada. Passionate about civic engagement, Daniel has volunteered as a campaign financial agent for a federal political party. An incredible human experience: it allowed him to see how decisions taken at international and national levels affect people’s daily lives.

A jurist at heart, he holds a Bachelor of Laws and a DESS in Common Law and Transnational Law (Juris Doctor) from the University of Sherbrooke. During this time, Daniel had the opportunity to participate in multiple international affairs simulations and academic conferences.

Daniel believes in the importance of diplomacy and youth engagement, which is why he’s thrilled to be an alumni engagement coordinator for the YDC.
