Enya Bouchard

Enya is adopted from China and grew up in Quebec. She is a Public Affairs and Communications attaché at the Bureau du Québec in Ottawa. She knows the parliamentary ecosystem having worked both at the Senate and the House of Commons. In 2019-2020, she was selected to join the Parliamentary Internship Programme to work for two Canadian MPs and participated in legislative study tours to Canada, Europe and the United Kingdom. Since her experience as page at the Quebec National Assembly, she has cultivated a keen interest in democratic institutions and politics. 

She holds a M.A. in International Relations and a B.A. in Public Affairs and International Relations from Université Laval. Passionate about international relations and foreign affairs, she participated in diplomatic simulations and academic conferences in Canada and abroad. Enya currently volunteers as CAO for the not-for-profit Young Diplomats of Canada and the President of the Parliamentary Internship Alumni Association. She also had the opportunity to study and work abroad, including a student exchange at King’s College London, a trade mission to China, and an internship at the Secrétariat général de l’Assemblée parlementaire de la Francophonie in France, where she assisted the Political Committee in Djibouti and Abidjan.
