Harshini Ramesh is a Policy Analyst at the International Affairs Branch of Environment and Climate Change Canada, where she supports Canada's multilateral engagements on energy transitions and climate finance. Previously, Harshini spent time researching and advocating for innovative clean economy policies as a Research Associate at Smart Prosperity Institute.

Her passion for empowering youth to be changemakers in their communities and decision-making spaces led her to further local, national, and international initiatives. Harshini is the Founder and Executive Director of the YPA Policy Corner, a pan-Canadian chapter of an internationally-based organization, focused on providing youth with policy skill-building and publishing opportunities. Her desire to bridge local expertise to the global stage inspired her to join the Young Diplomats of Canada team as an  Equity, Diversity & Inclusion Coordinator. 

Harshini holds a Master of Public Policy from McGill University and a Bachelor of Health Sciences (Honours) from McMaster University.
