Hiba Chihab is a project management professional with extensive experience in the development, implementation and evaluation of advocacy and outreach initiatives. A people-oriented and solution-focused collaborator, she is passionate about positively impacting Montreal’s local communities by supporting grounded and sustainable solutions, as reflected in her work with the Sexual Assault Centre of the McGill Students’ Society and the Quebec Board of Black Educators.

She believes that equity, diversity and inclusion must be part of the foundational meshwork of an organization. In the context of the Young Diplomats of Canada, ensuring that the team’s efforts align with principles of transparency, accountability, empathy, and accessibility is vital as it lays the groundwork for the ways we can impact policy discussions that have consistently been harmful to several Canadian and Indigenous communities.

Hiba holds a Bachelor of Science from McGill University.
