Jacky Fung is a proud member of the Royal Canadian Air Force, serving as a search and rescue pilot. Born in Hong Kong and raised in Canada, he draws on his multicultural background to bring fresh perspectives to his work. A graduate of the Royal Military College of Canada with a degree in psychology, Jacky is currently furthering his expertise through advanced studies in international relations at Harvard University.
Beyond his military service, Jacky founded a nonprofit organization supporting new immigrants, has engaged in local entrepreneurial ventures and private investment advising, and worked as a basketball referee for youth—reflecting his dedication to community engagement. He also was one of the delegates at the 2024 WBG/IMF Annual Meetings.
As part of his role with Youth Diplomats of Canada, Jacky envisions expanding opportunities for Canadian youth to engage on the global stage. He believes young Canadians have the potential to lead impactful change worldwide—if they are empowered with the right platforms and resources. Guided by this vision, Jacky remains committed to fostering forward-thinking solutions, collaboration, and dialogue that shape a more connected and prosperous future for all.
