Katharina Llorens is a communications professional and recent graduate from the University of Ottawa holding an Honours Bachelor of Arts in Communication. She is a proud Franco-Ontarian born and raised in the Greater Toronto Area, passionate about creating engaging communications content in both official languages. She currently works as a Project Services Officer for Employment and Social Development Canada providing communications support for national change management projects.

Her interest in international affairs and diplomacy was sparked at university through her participation in various Model UN and Model EU conferences in New York City, Montreal, Ottawa, and Geneva. She continued these interests during her semester abroad in Geneva, Switzerland where she studied international communication and joined the Geneva International Model United Nations.

Katharina aims to build a career in communication for national or international organizations. She also currently runs her website, Comms&Me, to teach young adults how to pursue studies and a career in communications. Katharina hopes to continue her passion for communication and international affairs through her work at YDC.
