Mojann Zibapour holds a Master of Global Affairs from the Munk School at the University of Toronto and a Bachelor of Political Science in the bilingual program from the University of Ottawa. She has a broad-based background, having worked in government, Academia, NGOs and conducted projects on a wide range of subjects including inclusion, human rights, and diversity. In addition, her proficiency in English, French, Spanish and Farsi has allowed her to excel in communication and facilitated engaging with a wide range of audiences on diverse research subjects.

Currently, she serves as an Analyst at the Ministry of Infrastructure on the West Coast Operations team which is responsible for all public infrastructure projects for several provinces. She has had many years of experience as a public servant, holding previous roles at Rideau Hall for the Office of the Secretary of the Governor General and on matters of disaster mitigation. Beyond public service, Mojann has worked in the NGO space both in Canada as a National Program Officer and an Advocacy & Events Specialist at the Institute for Canadian Citizenship (ICC) working on matters of inclusion, diversity, and active citizenship and internationally at swisspeace in Bern focussing mainly on matters of peacekeeping and transitional justice.

Mojann was a delegate and Communications Coordinator of the 2020 Y7 delegation and lead the Canadian delegation as Head Delegate of the 2021 Y7 delegation. She continues to stay involved in the youth advocacy space, holding positions in various organizations including but not limited to, the Young Transatlantic Leadership Initiative, Young Canadians Roundtable on Health, the Youth Action World Food Forum.
