Sydney Pagan

Sydney Pagan is a federal public servant currently working as a policy analyst at Employment and Social Development Canada. Her federal government experience has also included policy and international affairs work at the Treasury Board of Canada Secretariat and Transport Canada.

She is also a consultant for the Canadian International Development Platform. In this role, Sydney works closely with SEEK Development in Berlin, Germany to support research and publications on international development trends, programs, and policies including on global health, climate change, gender equality, agriculture, and education. 

 In 2022, Sydney was a YDC Delegate to the World Trade Organization Public Forum in Geneva, Switzerland. An Ottawa native and current resident, Sydney has also resided in Antigonish, NS, in Revelstoke, BC, in Québec City, QC, and in Utrecht, Netherlands. In her free time, she enjoys playing hockey, skiing, waterskiing, hiking, camping, and travelling.

 Sydney holds a Master of Arts in International Affairs (specialization in International Organizations and Global Public Policy) from the Norman Paterson School of International Affairs at Carleton University, and a Bachelor of Arts in History and Political Science from St. Francis Xavier University.
