We are pleased to announce that Young Diplomats of Canada is sending a Canadian youth delegation to the UN Commission on the Status of Women for a second consecutive year.

The sixty-sixth session of the Commission on the Status of Women will take place virtually from 14 to 25 March 2022 under the priority theme: Achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls in the context of climate change, environmental and disaster risk reduction policies and programmes.

The Commission on the Status of Women (CSW) is a functional commission of the United Nations Economic and Social Council (ECOSOC), and the principal global intergovernmental body exclusively dedicated to the promotion of gender equality and the empowerment of women.
