Announcing YDC’s 2022 Youth Delegation to the Y7 Summit in Germany

We are pleased to announce that Young Diplomats of Canada is sending a Canadian youth delegation to attend the 2022 Y7 Summit in Berlin, Germany.

The Summit will bring together youth delegates from all G7 member countries and the European Union to discuss and form policy suggestions. The Y7 Summit includes the creation of a Y7 communiqué that will serve as an official recommendation for the G7 leaders.

The Summit will take place in-person from May 16 to May 20, 2022. The four themes that will be addressed during the conference are: Sustainable and Green Planet; Economic Transformation for Shared Progress; Reshaping Democracies; and Global Health and Solidarity. Each track will take intergenerational equity and gender equality into consideration.
