Y20 Summit 2020 Communiqué

This year’s Y20 meeting comes at a time of extraordinary uncertainty for the global economy, which is still deeply impacted by the ongoing COVID-19 pandemic and its intertwined health, social, and economic consequences.

Despite these challenges, they stand resolute on the belief that young people are catalysts to a more sustainable and inclusive world. They are the future torchbearers of the planet and, as such, they need to be empowered today.

In 2020, our delegation addressed these challenges by recommending policies to the G20 in three overarching priority areas: Future Fit; Youth Empowerment; and Global Citizenship.
