2021 Commission on the Status of Women (CSW65) Report

From March 15-26, Katherine Carsley Lacroix, Katelyn Wang and Nikou Salamat attended the 65th session of the Commission on the Status of Women. The priority theme for 2021 was “Women’s full and effective participation and decision-making in public life, as well as the elimination of violence, for achieving gender equality and the empowerment of all women and girls”. The following report covers a summary of the agreed conclusions for the 65th session, a short report of three of the side events panel they attended as well as their personal reflections on their experience as YDC delegates to the CSW65.
